Werrington Show Scarecrow Trail 2020

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, The Werrington Show had to be cancelled. As a consequence the organising team decided to run a Scarecrow Trail around PE4 which could be run under government public safety guidelines. It was run over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd August and 27 Scarecrows were entered on the trail. Despite heavy rain, it received amazing support – it literally gave people something to do when nothing else was available. Donations were received in aid of The Werrington Show and NHS Charities Together.
